The Prince of Ebon Rih: This is a short story that is one of four that make up the collection Dreams Made Flesh by Anne Bishop. Set between the second and third books of the Black Jewels Trilogy, it tells the story of how Lucivar and Marian meet and fall in love, despite problems coming at them from all sides.

Free Fall: I chose this title for two reasons. First, because Lucivar at one point says that Marian is Eyrien, and she'd love the free fall. Second, because I think it describes their relationship. From almost the second they meet they're made for each other, and it's a big rush for them both going through the process of falling in love.
